オーストラリア工業化学品届出審査機構（National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme：NICNAS）が9月に発行した官報によりますと、1物質がオーストラリア化学物質インベントリー(Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances：AICS)から削除されることになりました。
削除された化学物質は poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl),.alpha.-hydro- .omega.-hydroxy-, ether with .alpha.-[[(2- hydroxyethyl)[2-[[2-[(2- hydroxyethyl)octadecylamino]ethyl](2-hydroxy-2- phenylethyl)amino]ethyl]amino]methyl]benz enemethanol (2:1)で、化学式が(C2H4O)n(C2H4O)nC42H73N3O4、ＣＡＳ番号が68310-21-4です。本化学物質は、インベントリーから削除されることによって、新化学物質として指定されることになり、「1990年工業化学品（届出と評価）規則」（Industrial Chemicals(Notification and Assessment） Regulations 1990）に関する要求に従わなければなりません。
一方、官報は、インベントリーに収載される予定となる11物質及び即日からインベントリーに収載される7物質を公表しました。詳細については下表までご参照ください。
